Given that Zeyad had to live through the decade of sanctions against Saddam's regime, it's hard to be un-sympathetic to his position. But, it begs the question: Is there a preferable, ‘non-stupid’, alternative means available for discouraging Iran's nuclear weapons program?
That may have slowed ‘em down some, but it seems have left them undiscouraged.

JG$ will be happy. Ratbag Mladic's trial is stalled indefinitely because of problems with sharing of evidence with the defence. Crap!
Marcus, from previous thread ... I hate to say it but you're starting to sound like your own troll that used to stalk you about Malmo being an Islamic city ;-) P.S. re: Yezidi, they are extremely exclusive, believing that if you marry outside Yezidism you lose your soul. (Just like Catholics. [JOKE!])
Lynnette - why are the Chinese property speculators deserting Vancouver? Because their investments at home are going bad ... just like you won't find the Oirish buying apartments from Bulgaria to the Cape Verde islands anymore. For some inside track :
Yeah, I might be relying on the US dollar to be it :-) So please get that deficit tamed. And let the farmer, the cowman, the Repub and the Dem be friends, at least for long enough to ride out the coming euro collapse. Then you can go back to business as usual.
"And let the farmer, the cowman, the Repub and the Dem be friends, at least for long enough to ride out the coming euro collapse."
‘…the Repub and the Dem be friends…" Not bloody likely. The question then is whether or not the collapse of the euro comes quickly enough to benefit Mitt Romney in the upcoming elections. There is a serious risk that the Euroweenies will drag the crisis out too long and Romney will be unable to benefit from the financial shock that will accompany the resolution.
Why did I think you were going to mention the dollor? That much maligned green scrap of paper. :)
Well, I have something riding on it as well, so I hope we can find a way to get The Farmer and the Cowman to be Friends. :) It might take some doing though, just like the territorial wars way back when. (One of my favorite musicals, btw. They just put on a production of it this year in my town's local theatre.)
Let me tell you they were pissed off at those imams and they were kind of saying that they had been waiting a long time for our media to dare to bring this up.
As well they should be! It's about time Muslim women spoke up for their rights.

Good on Iraq if they can boost their oil exports. It's needed for that country and for the world. Let's just hope the money earned is put to good use.
Yikes, the neonazi swede stole the first spot from the catholiberal irishman.
I wonder if the hamster is o-kay

Probably taking a well deserved nap. That little wheel in his cage can get tiring. :)

Hopefully they spend the revenue wisely.

"Sabotage?"

Yes. Seems there are problems all over. Is there any safe port in a storm?

If there's a need to debate something, please do tell me more specifically what I said that was so offensive.
Occam's razor, guys. The simplest explanation is always the right one.
